FIELD DAY: N2MUN provided an overview of Field Day.The use of the car port tent met and exceeded expectations. The packet/satellite/solar combo (Steve K2JY) worked extremely well. CW had some good numbers, SSB was weak on 40 and 15 primarily due to band conditions. Cliff KC2EXP got his first taste of HF while Diane KB2PZR got some 10 meter contacts despite band conditions. Tear down went at a record pace , putting away equipment before lowering the towers contributed  Phil N2MUN commented highly on the valuable assistance provided by Dick N2NGF, Dianne KB2PZR and their family all heartily agreed.  The Boy Scout had a good time and their presence was appreciated. Discussions about inviting them back followed along with expanding the invite to include Girl Scouts next Year  PattiLynn KC2AUX will look into this.

Additional comments were made about possibly inviting the scouts to the EOC for the next JOTA (Jamboree-On-The-Air) event.

Dave N2UHR had the opportunity to work with a few newer operators during Field Day.

Overall the membership present voice pleasant opinions about this Field day.
