The new tower is currently being erected. The board discussed the recent announcement about the Town of Babylon's moratorium on certain types of towers. N2MUN suggested we need to get the 2 meter repeater up and working properly. His mission for this year is to get the repeater fixed or replaced.

ARES/RACES:
K2LI has located a step van that is for sale that could possibly be used to replace 1-0-47. Frank asked if GSBARC could possibly donate some money toward the purchase of this vehicle. The board asked for additional details and N2MUN said this would have to be voted on by the club membership. Discussion followed. If this vehicle was obtained, it would become part of the Town of Babylon pool of vehicles.

On the air training has started on the weekly ARES net.

People will be needed to man this table. The GSBARC VE session will be going on at the same time so the usual volunteers will not all be available.
